Creamy Apricot

Place pineapple juice, apricots and sugar in Vitaroizer, then add gelatine and water,
cover, switch on and Vitamize until smooth. Pour into dish and cool till semi-solid,
fold whipped cream into mixture, pour into jelly moulds and chill. Serve cold topped
with whipped cream.
Rice Custard

Fir�t1y boil rice and water together until water is absorbed, place milk, eggs, sugar
and boiled rice in Vitamizer, cover, and run until smooth. Pour into greased pie dish,
place pie dish in a pan of water and bake in a moderate oven.
Pineapple Ups ide-Down Sweet

Apricot jam to taste
Place milk, egg, sugar and butter in Vitamizer in order indicated, cover, and Vitamize
until smooth. Stir Vitamized ingredients slowly into sifted flour. Place

round deep
cake tin on low jet ; in this, place

butter. While still over jet, add cubed pine­
apple and spread evenly. Sprinkle

tablespoonsful of brown sugar and a thin layer
of apricot jam over pineapple. When butter and brown sugar have formed a bubbling
(but not burnt) nougat, pour the sponge mixture on top and bake immediately in a
moderate oven for

hour. (Bananas can be used instead of pineapple). It is delicious
served with custard alone, or custard and ice cream.
Blanc Mange

Place only half of the milk in the Vitamizer, add all other ingredients, cover, and
run until smooth. Place the other half of milk in
a
double-boiler, bring close to the
boil, add the contents of the Vitamizer, stirring constantly. Cook for
1 5
minutes in
the double-boiler. Serve cold.

Chocolate Blanc Mange
Use the above recipe, but in place of the
vani l 1a,
put an appropriate quantity oC plain
chocolate. Most people prefer approx.

squares of the chocolate.

in the double-boiler. Serve cold.
