has ten speeds and an
"on-off" switch. When you plug the
flexible
cord
into the power outlet and
switch on
the
power,
your Vitamizer will
not run until you turn on the switch on
the name plate.
The speed you require to use is selected
by turning the Speed Selector knob.
In the recipes that follow, the speed to
use is not mentioned because experience
is your best teacher. While
we
give you
a general guide on the name plate
on
the
unit, always remember that the
low
spe&ds are
for light work while high
speeds are for
heavy jobs and thick
mixes. The
"on-offpresto'r
switch can
be
used
for
intermittent operation in
conjunction with any
of
the
10
speeds
shown below. For example,
speed
8-
"crumb"-place bread pieces
in
container. Select speed
8,
then operate
Presto intermittently.

The
Vitamizer
works
very quickly and
more foods, especially cakes, are spoiled
from over mixing rather than under
mixing.
